Smart coworkers doing cool stuff with data—I love it.
I want this same graph in terms of funds/kickbacks cash to the bank representing the newly debuted public company. Those bubbles would be absurd. I’m curious how Google’s unconventional IPO would compare in money paid to their representation. Facebook’s (speculative) gains for Morgan Stanley and crew look like they’ll be huge.
Also, add your $.02 about Facebook’s IPO stock price and long-term value. I’m sure more fascinating visualizations will ensue.
I’m confused by the purpose of flipping the data over to a logarithmic scale on the slide shown above. I’ll Venmo the first explanation $7 to buy a beer. :)
