How To Take Out A Fly
I enjoy leaving my window open when the weather is nice. Sometimes, however, a fly will come inside. I don’t always have a screen on the windows I want to open. I’m not a fan of flies. No one is, but I’m OK with eradicating the things. This post is essentially instructions for fly-o-cide.
OK, so here’s what you do. Once the fly is in your apartment, close all the windows, and put your garbage near the bathroom. The smell, if you’re a couple days after garbage day, will help attract the fly over to the bathroom. You can always just try to wave a towel around and send the fly into the bathroom too. Anyway, leave the bathroom door open. The goal here is to get the fly into the bathroom.
Go inside once the fly is in the bathroom, shut the door, and turn on the shower. All you have to do from this point is wave your towel around until you scare the fly into the stream of water. Done.
It’s not easy to kill a fly, but it’s easy enough to trick it into flying into your shower.
